Form 15 binder
Elastic binder which provides relief and efficient support For wounds after thoracic and abdominal surgery. Adjustable Velcro front closure makes the product easy to put on and adjust to requested compression. Can be closed right or left side. Form provides a consistent compression around the whole abdomen area and does not affect the patient’s ability to breathe comfortably. The product is also suitable to be used as a stoma binder, although consider using a larger size in order to avoid too much compression. Level of Compression: Medium, 2 out of 3. Form is available in three different heghts: Form 15 cm, Form 25 cm and Form 30 cm.
Indications: To be used in post-surgical treatment, after thorax and/or abdominal surgery in order to prevent pressure on wounds, scar rapture and in the early stages of mobilization of the patient. Can be used for different types of minor hernias. Can also be cut to expose stomas or openings for drainage.
Material: Polyester 77%, Natural Rubber Latex 17%, Polyamide 6%.
Note that the girdles are small in size. If the dimension around the intended placement is in the upper half of the measurement range in the table, preferably choose the size larger. This usually gives a better fit and the ability to adjust support and compression to a greater extent. Keep in mind that it is the largest/widest measure of intended placement to be taken.
When measuring:
- Use measuring tape to make an accurate measurement.
- It is preferable if someone else can take your measure.
- Please do not measure on top of baggy or loose-fitting clothing. Measure as close to the body as possible.

- Take all measurements twice for certainty and accuracy.
- The measuring tape should be tight against your body but without cutting into the skin.
- The measurement around the waist should be across the narrowest section.
- The measurement around the hip should be across the broadest section.
- The measurement under/over the bust should be across the broadest section.
