Stable wrist orthosis that is easy to put on. The orthosis is closed using three velcro straps that surround the wrist and provide support. Pre-bent, malleable and removable volar aluminum stay as well as two dorosal plastic stays provide extra stability.

 

Indications:

• To provide support for inflammatory conditions and soft tissue injuries, at the wrist (tendonitis, sprains and strains).

• Prevent further trauma caused by repetitive activities (overuse injuries).

• Secondary care after fracture treatment. •Rheumatic conditions with chronic instability.

 

Contraindications:

• Severe sprains

• Immediate treatment following fractures

 

Material: Polyester, Spandex, Polyamide, Nylon, Aluminum. Latex free.

 

Measurements: Circumference around wrist in cm. S=13-16 cm, M=16-18 cm, L=18-20 cm, XL=20-23 cm.

Machine wash at 40ºC (106ºF). Use a laundry bag. Dry flat. Seal the velcros and remove the stays before washing. Do not use bleach, chlorine bleach or fabric softener as this could impair the function of the material. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
