Wrist-Thumb Embrace wrist brace with thumb

Stable combined thumb and wrist orthosis with stays. Closes with the help of three velcro straps that surround the wrist and provide extra stable support. Two removable radial thumb stays are included. The orthosis has a pre-bent, malleable and removable volar aluminum stay and two dorosal plastic stays for extra stability. The thumb grip is adjustable using two bands that stabilize the metacarpophalangeal joint and the proximal phalanx.

Indications:

• Thumb ligament injuries (sprains).

• Acute or chronic inflammation of the wrist or metacarpal joints (rhizarthosis).

• Tendonitis and tenosynovitis.

• Post-operative immobilisation.

• Secondary care after fracture treatment at the thumb or base of thethumb.

Contraindications:

• Severe sprains.

• Immediate treatment following fractures.

Material: Polyester, Spandex, Polyamide, Nylon, Aluminum. Latex free.

Measurements: Circumference around wrist in cm. S=13-16 cm, M=16-18 cm, L=18-20 cm, XL=20-23 cm.
