LyftPlus Special binder

Semi-finished product to be used for manufacturing of an extra steady elastic abdominal binder. The front is constructed to provide an efficient support and “lift” of the abdomen. Lyft Plus Special is suitable for patients with a weakened and/or larger abdomen and with less severe hernia. For use also after abdominal surgery in order to prevent pressure on wounds, scar rapture and incisional hernia. The product can be used as a stoma binder for patients with a large abdomen and with a stoma on the left side, for which ordinary stoma binders will not provide sufficient support.

The material of the back part of the product is elastic, while the front part is non-elastic. This provides a steady support and pressure to the abdomen. The non-elastic front part is especially well suited for stoma patients, as cutting a hole for the stoma pouch can easily be made while no fringing occurs. The front and back seams are “open” in order to enable an optimal fit of the product. The front top and bottom of the product can be shortened (cut) to attain the desired height. Color beige.

Level of compression: Strong, 3 out of 3.

Indications: To be used by large patients for support and/or relieve of the abdomen. Also by patients with different types of less severe hernia. Sutiable also for making a stoma binder for patients with a large abdomen. Can be used as a binder in post-surgical treatment, after thorax and/or abdominal surgery in order to prevent pressure on wounds, scar rapture and in the early stages of mobilization of the patient.
Counter indication: Incarcerated hernia.
