Pain associated with pregnancy

Pregnancy means a strain on the body and it is common to suffer from typical pregnancy ailments. Pelvic girdle pain (PGP), symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) and back problems are common problems that often increase with the growing pregnant belly. The pain may be in the lower back and forward above the pubic bone. In most cases, a maternity belt, pregnancy support belt or pelvic belt will provide relief and also make it easier for you to be active and move around. After childbirth, a weakened and stretched abdominal muscle sometimes occurs. Then a girdle or belt after childbirth can support the stomach to heal and recover, while giving you a better posture.
