Description

DuoPlus is a two-piece shoulder immobiliser that relieves the shoulder without causing pressure on the neck. The two shoulder straps crosses in the back and distributes the weight evenly on each shoulder. A broad, removable strap assists in securing the arm against the body. Velcro fastening on all straps. The inside of the pocket and straps are lined with terrycloth. Fits both left and right arm.

Indications

For releive/immobilization/fixation of shoulder/arm. In case of trauma, emergency or postoperative care. 

Contraindications

For patients with sinus carotid sensitivity avoid pressure from the orthosis in the carotid sinus area.

Materials and care instructions

Nylon 40%, Polyester 25%, PU Foam 20%, Cotton 15%. Latex free. Machine wash at 40°C (104°F). Secure the hook closures before washing. Use a washing bag. Do not use bleach, chlorine bleach or fabric softener as this could impair the function of the material. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.

Size guide and measuring

1. Length forearm: Elbow to finger tips in cm.

2. Torso + upper arm: Measure around the intended placement over the torso and one arm.
