Description

The DuoQuick shoulder immobilizer fixates the shoulder and arm providing support and relief postoperatively, in case of acute injuries or trauma. The immobilization strap fixates the upper arm to the torso. The shoulder strap and immobilization strap are made of soft, padded material. The length of both straps is easily adjusted with Velcro fasteners. The arm pocket is made of a thin, airy fabric for extra comfort. A soft thumb strap prevents rotation of the forearm. Fits both left and right arm.

Indications

For immobilization/fixation of shoulder/arm. In case of trauma, emergency or postoperative care.

Contraindications

For patients with sinus carotid sensitivity avoid pressure from the orthosis in the carotid sinus area.

Materials and care instructions

77 % Polyester, 10 % Cotton, 9 % Polyurethane, 4 % Nylon. Latex free. Washing instructions: Machine wash at 40 °C (106 °F). Seal the Velcros. Use washing bag. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
