NordiCare's range of arm and shoulder orthoses is wide and unique. The products are developed to relieve pain, relieve strain, provide compression and stabilize. They are used for varying degrees of weakness and instability that can occur in connection with injuries, fractures, surgery, stroke or diseases. 

Each individual product has its own unique features and advantages to facilitate application, adjustment, use and rehabilitation. They are simple and effective for the caregiver to work with, while feeling safe and comfortable for the patient to wear. Many of the products have easily accessible videos and guides that show how the orthosis is tried on and applied.

For different types of needs and treatment

We offer a unique range of fracture orthoses for the fixation of fractures of the humerus. The fracture orthoses are used in the non-operative treatment of humerus fractures and are based on the Sarmiento principle. They are offered in different lengths and sizes to be individually adapted to the patient and depending on the positioning of the fracture. 

Our range also includes abduction orthoses that are used to keep the arm and shoulder immobilized at a certain angle. Our elbow orthoses are used to immobilize, lock or control the range of motion of the elbow with the possibility of adjusting flexion and extension in different intervals. A shoulder lock is attached around the torso and ensures that the shoulder joint and upper arm are fixed and immobilized in the event of a fracture, acute injuries or postoperatively. 

We also offer shoulder locks that enable training for effective rehabilitation and faster recovery. The range also includes different types of arm slings that are easy and effective to use. They are adaptable to the patient and have smart universal sizes.
