Description

Pectus is a corrective corset used in the treatment of so-called keel chest. The corset is tightened around the chest and provides compression (anterior/posterior) towards the chest. The corset is adjustable and the aluminum frame is malleable. Opens and closes with a quick release buckle. Lined with soft padding that can be washed. Universal size.

Indications

Abnormal shape of the chest. A protrusion of both the sternum (breast bone) and the cartilage portion of the ribs. Bowed Chest (Pigeon breast).

Contraindications

Severe deformations.

Materials and care instructions

Low density polyethylene, aluminum, polyester padding. Latex free. The padding can be washed by hand with mild soap and water. Metal and plastic parts are wiped with soap and water.

Universal size. Chest circumference in cm.
