Description

3-point hyperextension orthosis that is used to limit/control flexion and lateral mobility in the thoracolumbar part of the spine. Adapts to different body types, like a tailored product but with a reduced number of sizes. The frame is made of a light aluminum alloy, with chamfered edges. Allows all adjustments without having to remove the screws, only by loosening them. The upholstery is heat laminated, completely without seams or gluing. Can be customized by cutting in the cut lines and is attached to the orthosis with snaps.  

The padding has a waterrepellent surface. The lower bar is telescopic, can be shaped and is lockable in 0°, 18°, 36°. The upper bracket can be adjusted in its width. It can also be adjusted in different angles to achieve the best fit over the chest at different degrees of lordosis.  

The product is adjustable in height. When the orthosis is fitted, taking it on and off is carried out by using the buckle. For safety reasons, the buckle is spring loaded in its locked position. e-STAB do not absorb water.  

Indications

• Traumatic fractures (T10-L1/L2)

• Osteoporotic or metastatic-related compression fractures of the thoracic spine and the dorsolumbar transition (T10-L1/L2)

• Osteomalacia with fractures

• Dorsolumbar osteoarthritis

• Substitute for plaster corset

Materials and care instructions

A lightweight aluminium alloy frame. The end parts are made of a resistant and flexible polymer. Lightweight and resistant lever, in POM. Padded parts in PE foam. Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth.

Size guide and measuring

Pelvic circomferance in cm. Height measurement in cm - Measured from the proximal side of the corpus sterni to the upper edge of the pubic bone (tuberculum pubicum).
