Pain in the knee

Injuries in and around the knee joint are common and can make many everyday activities a challenge. The knee injury can come on suddenly or creep up over a long period of time and is often caused by an inflammation, accident or wear and tear. Increasing age, obesity, unfavorable gait or overload in sports can increase the risk of knee problems. The pain can occur on the front of the knee, on the inside or outside of the joint, or throughout the knee area. It can be felt when you angle, bend, extend, or twist the joint. A knee brace gives the knee support and relief and is often used as an aid in case of injury or pain in the knee joint.
