Description 

Elastic back orthosis in shapeable material which ensure that the orthosis fits snugly. Provides stable and comfortable support across the entire lower back. Suitable for low back pain, especially suitable for vertebral compression caused by osteoporosis. Suits most body shapes – both men and women. The material provides excellent compression and is comfortable to wear because it is light, breathable, and soft against the skin. The ribbed structure of the material also helps keep the brace in position. Atle features a handle and Velcro fastening at the center front which makes it easy to apply. The elastic fastening straps are adjustable and provide stable support. They are also fastened at center front using Velcro. The two replaceable back stays can be shaped individually to fit the contours of the back. Also availabe in a lower model, Atle low.

Tip: If an entire corset that provides support for the thoracic spine is desired, Atle high or low can be combined with Ballerina (art. No. 50103). See pictures.

Contraindications

Unstable back fracture. Sciatica pain of unclear genesis.

Materials and care instructions

Ventilated, breathable textile material that is gentle on the skin. 83% Polyester, 7% Spandex, 8% Nylon, 2% Latex. Machine wash at 40°C (104°F). Remove the splints. Seal the Velcros. Use washing bag. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
