Contender elbow orthotics used in post-operative or posttraumatic stabilization arm and elbow to give controlled range of movement or immobilization. Telescopic mechanism for easy adjustment of the length. Aluminum-cuffs around the upper and lower arm can be shaped individually so the risk of slippage decreases. The Cuff placed over the biceps/elbow joint can be removed, making it possible to use for patients with large biceps/over arms, (improve fl exion) The orthotics can easily be placed with one hand using snap lockers. The padding is soft and relieving. Extension and flexion can be adjusted and fi xed from -10 - 90 °. The setting takes place in intervals of 10 °. Controlled movement range from -10 ° - 110 °. The setting is secured with a lock-rubber band.

Indications: Used for post-operative or post-traumatic stabilization. Muscle/ligament injuries. Distal humeral fracture. Elbow plastics. Stable elbow fractures.

Size: Universal. Available for right and left arm. Orthosis length 35-50cm, fi t the upper arm. Rangeup to 56 cm, forearm range up to 46 cm.

Additional accessories: Optional accessories include a comfortable hand piece loaders. Positions and fi x the wrist in a neutral position to avoid pro- and supination. Hand part is designed as a wrist which encloses the soft hand and wrist. The obsession is very good and makes unwanted muscle activity around the elbow joint is reduced. Hand part provides stability for the entire orthosis that allows the extra fi rmly without slipping or rotating.
